Mother is the word of prayer on the lips of Children
Daddy is the strength of Earth beneath their feet
Brother always stands beside them
Sister's always there to hide them
Familiy's all or nothing in the end

But I want to see
Through the child's eyes of a world of mystery
And I want to know
How the hell she's gonna cope...

Mother's never home; she can't be bothered with them
Daddy's always drunk and rages all the time
Brother's in jain and dying
Sister just gave up trying
Family's all or nothing in the end

Through the child's eyes to the violence passing by

He's spinning in and out of life
She's got the most of it despite
He'll pull her down into the ground
But she'll always catch him if he falls

Mother will be her name after they have children
Daddy will be his job at her side
Brother can be the reader
Sister can be the singer
